You can make this casserole with ground beef that is 70% lean or leaner. The leaner the better as you will need to drain out the excess fat.

Ingredients to make keto ground beef casserole

  • 1lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar-free ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ tbsp mustard
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

How to make keto cheeseburger casserole

To start, gather all of your ingredients in one place and preheat the oven to 375F.

Next heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the beef until browned.

Stir in onion and garlic powder, ketchup, mayo, mustard and half the cheese. Cook for 1 minute.

Line a casserole dish with parchment paper, then place the cooked beef in this lined casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 15 minutes.

Once baked, pull out of the oven.

Slice and serve warm.
